Our Ambassador Programme

Aged 15-18? Learn to create meaningful change.

One of our biggest successes as an organisation has been our ambassadorship scheme. Twice a year we open applications, allowing anyone in the UK aged 15-18 to apply. If the application is successful, a range of ‘subteams’ will be offered to you to join, based on the current campaigns we are running. Here, you can learn vital skills from experienced mentors, team leaders and activists, run campaigns, and work with other school students on topics that you are particularly passionate about.

After a period of 6 months, ambassadors who show the most initiative and drive will be given the opportunity to join the main team, where they will gain more responsibility, leading teams and mentoring new ambassadors. In BTB, we are constantly looking for more school students to join us in amplifying the youth voice, and speak to those directly involved in fighting for human rights and the causes that we work in.

Alumni from the program have gone to Oxbridge and top Russell Group Universities, studying a wide range of subjects, whether Medicine, History, Politics or Performing Arts. Ambassadors have also worked on campaigns featured in the BBC, NBC and Foreign Policy, gaining endorsement from celebrities such as Steven Fry, or politicians such as Sir Iain Duncan Smith, Nus Ghani, Layla Moran and Sarah Champion.

Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to learn from experts in their fields who will deliver webinars about the campaigns they work on and provide guidance and advice on a range of topics such as: digital marketing, effective campaigning, persuasive communication and media dialogue.

Ambassador applications are now closed till the summer term.

But, if you fill out the form below we will email you when applications reopen so you don't miss out!

What a few of our former ambassadors had to say...

"I have learned the key skills required to make long lasting social change. Being a part of the scheme has made me into a much better activist and a more organised, experienced team player as a whole".

"One of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve had. An incredible opportunity to work with incredible people, and to learn about experiences so outside your own, and to fight for what’s right!"

"Burst the Bubble also is a place where my voice is just as important as anyone else's, I feel heard and respected and feel like what I'm doing has a genuine impact on the people around me".
